Yesterday was the end to Mike's 2009 season as a coach for Ohio Valley fighting Scots. He has had a really great year and hopes to continue next year. He has met some great people. He also not only taught a few things but learns some too.
Well with that said here is how the weekend went. Friday Mike and I headed to Wheeling, WV for a double header against Wheeling Jesuit University. It was perfect weather for some baseball. It was a very nice ball park. The team played great and won both games. We headed back to Columbus after a quick bite to eat thanks to the other team.
Sunday we were back on the road but this time to University of Charleston. This time Ron, Jackson, Mike and myself made the trip. It was a good trip down. We got there a bit before the rest of the team. So we got to make a quick trip to the capital building to look at the gold dome. Jackson thought it was pretty cool. The team loss the first game pretty bad. But made a come back and won the second game. After a bite to eat we headed back to Columbus and got here around midnight. It was a great weekend2 for baseball.
Now Mike's coaching duties are not over for the year. He is helping coach Jackson team again this year.

Cosi
Mike and I got to spend some time in Parkersburg this weekend. It was a beautiful weekend for some baseball. We are really enjoying being in Parkersburg. We both got a lot of sun and some funny tans.
So after two days in Parkersburg and spending time with the team. We decided to invite one of his players and his girlfriend to church. Well they did not make it for church but came into Columbus anyway. So what better to do on a Sunday in Columbus but go to Cosi. If anyone has ever been to Cosi knows it is fun. It is always fun to take people there that have never been to Cosi before. Here is what we did.

So after our trip to Cosi we got some dinner and headed back to Grove City to relax. But Jackson had another idea. We played indoor hockey instead.

Sad
This will be quick. I wanted again ask for a prayer request. This time it is not for me or my family. It is for the family of Tyler. Tyler was a boy on Maddi's cheer team. He had open heart surgery this past Friday. Saturday while at the Bluejackets game we got a message that Tyler passed away.
So please say a pray for Tyler's family at this very difficult time.

Glasses
It was that time of year for the kids eye exams. I have learned a very important lesson this year at their exam. Don't take both children at one time by myself. They were very good but we were there for 3 hours. So after 3 hours in the office, 1 hours at the eye glass store and a week's wait.
Here is Maddi and Jackson with their new glasses.

so much to do
OK, I will make this short because like the title says I have so much to do. You see in less than 24 hours I am leaving on a scrap booking trip!! I am sure you can imagine me doing a little dance as I said that.
I have laundry to do, clothes to pack, and things to get ready for the kids, they have school tomorrow. But as you see I am sitting on my bottom blogging. I am such a procrastinator. It will all get done and I will be up half the night doing it. But completion is the point right?
So I better get started, tomorrow will be here before I know it. I have to be ready.
