I'm really really Mad :(

OK, I am not a born reds fans but I married one. So by marriage I am a reds fan. I have grown to love this sport and the team. Yes, Mike, I even enjoy listening to them on the radio and nothing beats a baseball game on a summer night. But the last few weeks I have been really mad at them. The reasons are:

1, They have not had great winning summer. They never do but this was the year.
2, They traded Griffey. Griffey was Jackson's favorite player.
3, They traded Dunn. Dunn was Mike's favorite player.

So as you see it is as if getting rid of player my family liked just plain made me mad. I don't really understand the politics or really want to understand what the owner/mangers are doing other than getting rid of player we liked. I am sure or at least hope they know what they are doing. Because you never know what next year season will bring.

And just for the record my favorite play is Bronson Arroyo. I know Jonny he stinks but I still like him.

Missed high points

I knew I missed a few high points. I remembered them after looking at the pictures on my camera. So I did not want my readers to miss some high points in our summer.

Maddi, Jackson, Ron and myself took on Kings Island. The Kids rode their first roller coster. It was a blast and we all loved it. Yep, even Papaw Ron. What a trooper!!

Then this past friday we took on the Ohio State fair. As Papaw say the Ohio State fair is a great state fair. We did it all. The big event this year was we fished in the ONDR area and Maddi caught 3 fish.

Mallory turned 2 years old. Where does time go. It has been such a joy to see her grow from a baby to a toddler.

I am sure I missed a few more high points. Well here are a few pictures from the summer.

This blog is for you

OK a few readers have been on me about my blog and when I planned on updating it. So here you all go. This has been a busy summer and I have not really felt like writing much.

I will try to hit the high points.

Maddi finished kindergarten. We survived and all in one piece and the school only lost her 3 times.

Maddi and Jackson made it thought and graduated from Safety Town. That is one great program.

I turned 28 years old and man I am getting so close to 30 it is scary. I am really hoping they find the fountain of youth and fast.

Mike and I went to Cedar Point for our 9Th wedding anniversary. All I can say to that is man I am getting old. But it is fun to pretend I am a kid again and next time I decide that would be a good trip bring the Dramamine.

Jackson finished up T-ball and boy am I glad that is over. Well over till fall ball starts ( oh that would be tonight).

Cheerleading took a short break and just resumed with twice the kids. WOW!

Brooke, Tina and I have taken over children church. It has been a big project but so worth it.

That is about it. I am sure I am missing a few things. It has been a long summer but I can't wait for school to start.
