Happy Turkey Day

So yesterday was turkey day. It was a good day. I worked in the morning. But it was a very pleasant day. Then the running began. It is something I am use to. I decided that this year that we would not get to see everyone. You see usually we eat at Ron and Carole's, my grandma's and my dad's. It is a lot of running and I am exhaust afterward. But not this year. Maddi and Jackson went to Ron and Carole's for brunch. Mike was very sick with a bug so he stayed in bed. After brunch they hung out with them till I got off work. After work and a quick wardrobe change I picked up the kids. We headed to pick up Jack and to Dad's house we went. It was decided we would go to Dad's because his parents would be in town. You see Grandma and Grandpa Weaver live in Dayton and we don't see them to often. It was a wonderful day. Mad and Jackson were as they always are busy. But no one seemed to mind. The food was great. I am just a little disappointed that someone, that I will not name forgot the peanut butter fudge. But I have to give high marks for the cheese ball and the yams. So after we packed a doggy bag for Mike were finally left around 8. It was a very long day.
