So, I was reading Andrea's blog and loved it so much that I am starting one of my own. I have decided to do one since this will be an eventful year.
So, today was not a very productive day for me because I live in the Phillips house but drama and events always happen here. The day started off like any other: TV and computer until Mom decides to get off the couch. I officially have 2 days of summer left until school starts. Summer break is not all about the kids. Then, we had breakfast to which I said that they had to have some kind of breakfast food. Mad, Jackson and myself had Trix. Well then, no more then ten minutes later the kids wanted popsicles. Popsicles in the morning are not my thing, I am more of an ice cream person. Hey, it is a dairy product right? Back to the popsicle thing, they were told they had to wait till the clock says 10:00. Well Maddi, who is better at reading, saw the clock and went outside to look for bugs. She can look for bugs all day. But Jackson, my sugar lover, asked every 5-10 minutes if it was time yet. Finally, it was so I got popsicles out and sent them out in the yard to play with theses instructions: stay out of the garden, out of the pool, and off the fence. I came in to do a few things on the computer. I went out on one of my "every few minute check" to see Maddi sitting on Daddy's deer stand. Yes, we have a deer stand in the backyard. Long story short it needed to be moved from the woods and a little work done on it. So, in my backyard it sits until it finds a new home. Because you all know that there are no real deer in my backyard. Well, yes, a lazy day in the Phillips house. This all happened before lunch.
A cute thing Jackson Said today: I asked Mike who won golf. Mike, his dad, and Dale Burdette play golf whenever Mike is off work. Well, without missing a beat or even looking up from what he was doing, Jackson said "Tiger."

Jackson may very well have been correct :)
Reading your blog is like being in your presence and having a conversation with you--you write just like you talk! I love it! I'm bookmarking your blog so I can read up on the "drama" in the Phillips house on a regular basis! As someone else once told me, Welcome to the Blogosphere!
I found it and so glad for the step by step account. Sure beats the normal "whats new" "nothing"
See you soon.
A lazy day in the Phillips house...that is funny :) Good luck with the blog, I can't wait to read more.
