I have the sweetest boy ever

So yesterday I worked from 3pm to 11:30 pm. I get home around 12:00 am and the first thing I do is check on the kids. So last night I checked on Maddi first. I gave her a kiss and then made her get up to the bathroom. While she was on the potty I decided to check on Jackson. He was curled into a ball with the covers over his head. I pulled the cover to find my boy. Which woke him up because he had the covers over his head and tucked in. So Jackson realized it was me and gave me a big hug. We sat there with him in my lap for a few minutes. I love this time. But I knew he needed to get back to bed. I gave him one more kiss and was laying him back in his bed. When he said mom I have something for you and opened his hand. Inside was a piece of hard candy. I asked him where he got it and he said from church for you. I don't know how he did it but he fell asleep with that candy in his hand.
It makes me feel truly loved.
