Friday already!!

Wow, This week went fast. It was a pretty busy week getting used to school for the kids and working. This was a long week for Maddi. She had school Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I will see tonight how it went, as she is not home yet. Jackson had a good week at school but has been a bear at home. He has decided that listening is something he does not want to do. We have gone round and round this week. Hope this weekend is better.

So I got a call Wednesday at work from Children's. Not to unheard of since we are there every week with something. But this call was from pre-admission testing. OK, I answer all their questions and at the end of the phone call ask what it is for. Come to find out it is for Maddi to have dental work done. I feel a little stupid but it was in March that we were seen in the dental clinic. I guess it take 6 months to schedule stuff with them. Yes, Maddi is special because she has a major heart problem and has to have her dental work done under general anesthesia. But it was a little shocking to get this phone call. So for the year this makes her 4 or 5th time having to be put under for something. I lose track. I am so done with the hospital and it is not me that they poke and prode. Maddi is a champ and we have learned that if they keep gloves and mask out of sight she does ok. So say a prayer for us on October 3rd. It is a few cavities and a good cleaning.

That is about it other than I have a cold, yuck. I have not felt very good the last few days. I am greatful for my husband and my in-laws. They let me rest last night and I feel better today, just a little tired. It is one of the perks of having my in-laws across the street. Mike and the kids went to their house for dinner and to play. Well I am about done here. Time to lay down for a bit.
