It's a great day for a parade

So this morning was the arts and the alley parade. It is a kick off for the big arts and the alley art show. It was a beautiful day for a parade, just a bit chilly. We bundled up the kids and headed to the parade. The only problem is that getting to were the parade is from our house is a challenge. You see the parade lines up on Southwest Blvd. and that is how we would usually get there. So we decided to try another route but again it was closed for the art show. I guess the third try is a charm but you see they had already closed down that street too. So we decided to park and walk to our spot in front of Ron's work. We really enjoyed the parade and the kids got a lot of candy which made them happy. They got a whole Kroger sack full. What are we going to do with a sack full of candy? It was so much fun.

The rest of the day was devoted to Mike, Ron, and Jackson working on the hunting truck. It has been broke down for almost a year. They are trying to get it ready for hunting season which start soon. So not only do we have a deer stand in the backyard we have a hunting truck in the driveway. It is taking over my house.
It was a great day!!!
