Matters of the Heart

I wanted to give everyone an update. Maddi's saw Dr. Hoffman this past Wednesday. Her heart is looking good. Her blood pressures are good and her o2 sats were 94%. Wow, it was great to see it that high. We are keeping everything the same. Well except the aspirin she will now get it everyday. We had backed down to every other day because of her belly pain. Now that we know what the pain is from. We are taking a normal dose. I hope this does not cause her to bruise more or bleed more than she already does. We will see him again in March for her 6 month check up. He will do a referral for a cardiologist in Cincinnati to follow us while she is there for her surgery. He is pleased at how well she is doing.

Today was a lazy day for us. It was pretty nice. I got called off work, yeah. It is one of the perks and down falls about working at a hospital. So we went to church and hung out at home. Not too eventful.

Uneventful? How can you call last night uneventful, what with the ballgame going on out in the grass after church??? That was probably the highlight of my kids' day!

That's awesome about Maddi's stats! I'll be praying that the new aspirin regimen does its thing!

Well that is uneventful for us. That is what we do. We play baseball. I am so glad they had fun. You have wonderful children. We enjoy playing ball with them. Maybe we can get together and play on the dirt. Jackson loves playing at the ball park.
