Wish upon a star

For anyone who does not know Maddi is getting a wish. She qualifies for a wish though Make-a-Wish foundation. So this is how it works. You and the doctor fills out paper work and send it to MAW. They then accept you and set you up with 2 volunteers. The volunteers are the people that meet with your family and do even more paper work. Well after the doctor and I sent in paperwork we were given the name of our volunteers. Heidi and Chad are Maddi's volunteers. They came to our house and asked Maddi about her wish. She said the Disney cruise or to stay at castle at Disney. We decided to we wanted to go around March 2008 for Maddi and Jackson's birthdays. So I emailed Heidi the other day to check in, we are about 6 months out from the wish time. Well she emailed back to give us some bad news. She is being relocated Minnesota. We will have another volunteer to work with. She was a wonderful person. We will miss her.


I was off today, yeah. Today was suppose to be Jackson's first day of school but they started him last week. So I had the day off for no reason. But it could not be a better day to be off because we moved in to our new nursery and nurse's station on 6 west. I was there when we moved in to the other nursery and nurse's station on 6 south a few months ago. What a mess.

So being off today means that papaw did not have the kids this morning. I though it would be a break for him. Ron and Carole have the kids a lot. I guess that is what they wanted since he sold us the house across the street. Any way with him off babysitting duty today he decided to take us t breakfast. I was nice of him.

Jackson had school today. He had fun and Mrs.Erin said he was good. I feel the need to ask everyday. I have not got a bad report yet. I better knock on some wood because there is always tomorrow. Well better run Maddi has cheer leading tonight. I will let you know how that goes tomorrow.
